My practice is devoted exclusively to trying serious personal injury and commercial cases of all types in state and federal court. My litigation experience includes suits involving asbestos personal injury claims; railroad personal injury claims; tortious interference with contract and prospective contract claims involving lost profits damage claims of over $200 million; breaches of real estate and real estate development contracts; breach of employee stock compensation agreements; and multiple class actions suits involving personal injury and property damage claims totaling several billion dollars. Those suits involved a wide array of state and federal law issues including antitrust, breach of contract, business disparagement, class actions, Daubert/expert issues, fraud, insurance coverage, maritime law, and trade secret misappropriation.
In 2005, I completed a clerkship for Judge Jay Bybee on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. I then moved back to Houston and joined Vinson & Elkins, LLP, one of the largest and most respected law firms in the country. I recently joined the firm that my father, Edwin Dunahoe, founded.
I graduated from Washington & Lee University and the Louisiana State University Law Center, where I served as the Recent Developments Editor of the Louisiana Law Review.
I am admitted to practice in both Texas and Louisiana, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits and the Southern District of Texas. I am also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
My wife, Lexie, and I have one child, Marshall Edwin Dunahoe, who, lucky for him, takes after his mother.
